Dowen College is a secondary school located in Lekki Phase 1 in Lagos. It is a school with a tradition of excellence with day and boarding facilities. We run both the Nigerian and British curricula.

Our Year 9 (JS 3) students are presented for Checkpoint, an assessment independently set and marked by Cambridge Assessment International Education. They are also presented for Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) organised by NECO.

Our Year 12 (SS 3) students are presented for IGCSE examination, also an assessment independently set and marked by Cambridge Assessment International Education. The Year 12 (SS 3) are also presented for WASSCE organised by West African Examination Council.

Dowen College and Service to Humanity

When it comes to service to humanity, Dowen College Lagos is exceptional. Dowen College engages in many services to humanity without expecting reward from government or anybody. One of the most amazing services being rendered to humanity by Dowen College is yearly giving of full scholarships to students. On yearly basis, more than 10% of Dowen College student population are on full scholarships.

Hundreds of students have benefited from Dowen College scholarship scheme since the establishment of the school about 25 years ago. Many of the student beneficiaries are great professionals now e.g. doctors, lawyers, engineers, accountants, etc, giving back to the society today.

It is mainly for SS1 (Year 10) to (Year 12) senior secondary students. It contains all likely calculations in WAEC/WASSCE, UTME and NECO. It also contains calculations from IGCSE.

Every Physics topic in the book has solved calculation problems and model past questions for practice with answers. The solved calculation problems and model past questions are mostly WAEC/WASSCE, UTME and NECO past questions with some IGCSE past questions.
