Ms Aminat Yusuf made history with a perfect score of 5.0 cumulative grade point average (CGPA) as the best-ever graduate in the history of the 40-year-old Lagos State University. She is the best-graduating student for 2021/2022 set. She is the first Law graduate to make a perfect score in the history of Nigeria.
She was able to achieve this extraordinary feat despite the financial hardship she she endured during her undergraduate study. She said she even survived on garri on many occasions.
Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu gifted her #5 million. Lagos State government also gifted her another #5 million. Lagos State University gave her #500,000. She was also hosted by traditional ruler of Iba Kingdom, Oba Adeshina Suleiman Ashade and was gifted #2 million.
To avoid being snatched away, Edo State governor, Obaseki gave her automatic employment despite the fact that she has neither gone to Law School nor done her NYSC. Meet her:
