The North Pole of the Earth experiences 6 months continuous daylight followed by 6 months of continuous darkness. While this is happening in the North Pole, the South Pole experiences 6 months continuous darkness followed by 6 months of continuous daylight.
Sun rises in the North Pole of the Earth once in every 6 month! Sun disappears around September 21st and rises again around March 21st.
